Every once and a while I try and post something about Sean and I’s life on my blog. It’s a great way to reflect on our lives together and to appreciate the many memories we have shared in our short marriage. If you know us, you know that we LOVE to travel. Exploring new cultures and eating new foods has always been one of our favorite things to do together. For our honeymoon, I asked Sean if he would just surprise me with a destination, either cold or hot, where we could relax after the craziness of wedding planning. Sean chose the Bahamas where he had fond memories sailing with his family from his childhood. Our trip, although overall enjoyable, was not reminiscent of the time he spent her as a young boy. Although the beaches were some of the most beautiful we have yet to see, the food was not so great and we ended up eating ice cream and popcorn for dinner most nights ;). Nevertheless, we think back fondly at our time on the Grand Bahamas and hope to go back and see the Bahamas again by sea. Enjoy some pictures of our honeymoon.
We attended a Conch festival on the island where local school kids performed.
One day we decided to drive to the end of the island and we ran into a family who was spending their afternoon fishing for Baraccuda.
Sean trying to be all tough…but this is the Sean I know and love ;).
SO many conch!
We had a 6 hour layover in Phily, so sean and I decided to do some exloring.
Oh no, the food wasn’t good? Haha! I don’t remember hearing that. Love these pictures and love you two!
